The living room in this lovely little cottage was looking a little tired, and due to the family dog the carpet and wallpaper needed replacing.
We changed the worn carpet to one with a sumptuous deep pile, which had the benefit of being bleach cleanable which will certainly help with the family dog. As it is a long thin room we chose a dark wallpaper for the end wall to bring it in a little, helping to create a cosier feel. We tied in the brass poles and finials to the simple wall lights which helped improve the lighting in the evenings.
